THE NEW STANDARD IN POOL FENCING

Meets Australian Standards AS1926 for Pool Fencing, and is Exempt from AS3000 Electrical Earthing Requirements

Introducing the patented CFG Composite Spigot – a game changer for frameless toughened glass pool fencing

Sydney experts and innovators, Beyond Architectural have been leading the glass and architectural hardware industry for 4 generations.

And now they have redefined frameless toughened glass pool fencing with their new patented reinforced CFG Composite Spigot.

So, what makes the CFG composite spigot unique?

  • Does not conduct electiricity, and has been tested to 1,000 volts.
  • Superior strength – tested holding up to 2 metre wide panels for frameless toughened glass pool fencing.
  • Does not rust as it is made from a reinforced CFG composite material – whereas the alternative stainless steel spigots are prone to rusting and staining over time if not properly looked after.
  • Comes in premium finished, pre-coated matte black or silver.

The industry also saw the introduction of a new electrical safety standard AS3000 around 2012, which meant that all pool fences and metal structures within 1.25m of the edge of the pool needed to be earthed. This presented a problem for many companies and installers, but we saw it as an opportunity to create something new. Something that set a new standard and captured the market.

The new CFG spigot does just that. And its genesis came from an unlikely source – the automotive and aircraft industries. After 7 years of research, development, and testing, the reinforced CFG composite spigot is ready for installation at home and internationally.

It’s unique composition and design will not rust or corrode and is easy to install, requiring no electrician. The CFG spigot is a world first and has been successfully tested to comply with pool fence installation safety code AS1926, and is exempt from AS3000 electrical equipotential bonding requirements. It has been tested to 1,000 volts to ensure that it is not a conductor of electricity.

Beyond Architectural hold both domestic and overseas patents for the new CFG spigots.

There is nothing like the elegance and style of glass products in modern architecture.

New pools primarily feature frameless glass safety fences and many older pools are being refurbished replacing metal fencing with the clean aesthetic of glass.

“The CFG spigot is a beautiful product and will be the new standard used in the architectural industry.
